We have finished reading Speak to the Earth and written a persuasive essay on an issue of choice.

We are now working on our culminating activity for our poetry unit - a Poetry Anthology.

We will be starting a media unit next week and wrapping up the course with the novel Crabbe.

We will also be reading various short stories in class and then doing a fun media project one of the short stories.

Welcome to Semester 2!

We have started our initial unit, Hold Fast to Your Dreams, with some diagnostic activities and will soon be starting our first novel, William Bell's Stones.

We are now working on our summative which involves reading That Was Then...This Is Now and working through the package of questions and activities related to the book. We will also have a final test on the book which will be multiple choice as well as journal response answers.
